Samuel Eshun earned a bachelors degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He taught physics and computer science for 4 years at Achimota School. Whiles at Achimota School, Mr. Eshun took a course in LAN and WAN administration at McGill University, Canada. From 1998 to present, Mr. Eshun has been the country manager for World Links Ghana [1], a World Bank initiated ICT project to expand PC and internet access to all schools in the developing world. Samuel has successfully implemented the project in thirty-one high schools across five regions in Ghana. This involved project management, setting up computer labs and Internet connectivity, training selected teachers as national trainers for ICT in education, establishing partnerships, facilitating the processes for drafting national ICT in education policy for the ministry of education. Mr. Eshun has worked as the ICT Training Consultant for the United States Peace Corp, One World, BusyInternet and Private Enterprise Foundation/USAID. He is the founder of an online city guide [2] for Ghana and Vitalinfonet, a technology firm that specializes in developing, hosting and supporting websites and other Internet applications for corporate organizations.
